Globe Artichoke Microwave

Ingredients
Artichoke, 1 Globe

Directions
  1. Remove discolored leaves and trip stem even with base.
  2. Cut one inch off top and discard.
  3. Snip of points of remaining leaves with scissors.
  4. Rinse with cold water.
  5. Place in a glass bowl or four cup glass measuring cup. Add 1/4 cup water and cover with vented plastic wrap.
  6. Microwave 5 to 7 minutes or until leaves pull out easily.
Notes
  1. Dip leaves in butter, mayonnaise or your favorite dip.
