LSO and I are trying out a new variation of our fudge. It was requested several years ago and I have finally mustered the confidence to make an attempt. I am envisioning a peanut butter swirl through the fudge, chocolate with just a hint of peanut butter.
These are just a few of the links I found doing my research. Some suggested real peanut butter and some called for peanut butter chips. Between the three of them I am hopeful we can come up with a good result.

Be careful, you guys - any more delicious and you just might tear a hole in the space-time-delicious continuum!!!
ReplyDeleteOur first attempt didn't really work. The peanut butter was layered instead of swirled through the fudge. I want to use real pb because the chips tend to be sweeter. Our method was to heat the peanut butter and swirl it over a layer of fudge and then put another layer of fudge on the top.
ReplyDeleteNext time I will put the hot peanut butter in a squeeze bottle and gently mix it into the fudge while it is still hot in the pan. Then pour the entire contents of the pan into the casserole dish.
